Al & Myra Whitney moved into Riverwood in February 1996 with 3 sons, now all grown. Myra retired from Memphis City Schools as an Associate Superintendent and Al from Smith & Nephew as a Director in Global IT. Retirement suits them just fine. This is particularly true for Al as it gives him time to devote to hobbies, one of which is home landscaping. He created the designs, built most of them himself, and still performs bi-weekly lawn mowing (under Myra’s keen eye and approval).

“We fell in love with Riverwood in 1996 and continue to do so today. It is a great place to live.”
