Kenneth Eichholz
Biography
I have served on the Riverwood Farms board in the past and I was ask to fill a board member position that left before his term was up. I walk the trails in the morning and sometimes again in the evening. I carry a long, green trash grabber and do my best to help keep our lakes and Riverwood free of trash. I have been a visible trail neighbor for the past nine (9) years. I wish to see continuing improvement for our residents. Being a retired Overton High School Choir Director and music director at my church has given me the opportunity to work within a community in order to see projects started and completed. I believe I can assist our residents and the HOA board in achieving current goals, set forth, and tackle future goals as well. I would appreciate your vote and in return will give my best effort to help keep our community one of the finest in Cordova.
Mary Geer
Biography
My husband and I bought our home here in Riverwood about 6 years ago, and we have loved every day living here. I am a department head and banquet captain at one of Memphis’s oldest catering companies. In addition to the hospitality and event planning skills I have cultivated in my ten years there, my job requires me to build strong teams out of very different people, and lead those teams in high-pressure situations. I am loyal and determined. I work well under pressure and never shy away from difficult tasks. My experience in the wedding industry has really highlighted my creativity, problem solving skills, and ability to connect with people. In my free time, I volunteer with my church and with animal rescue organizations. I believe this work has truly grown my compassion and ability to put myself in others’ shoes and see from all different points of view.
Why do you want to serve on the Riverwood HOA board?
Riverwood is incredible. The area, the amenities, and especially the people; I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. But I don’t think Riverwood can stay incredible passively; it requires actively working hard for our neighbors and our community. Time keeps moving forward, and Riverwood has to do the same or else be left behind. I am part of the next generation of homeowners. I look around Riverwood and I see a bright future, and I would love the opportunity to help us get there.

Biography
Hi, I have been living in Riverwood for 19 years and am a candidate for the Riverwood Board because my years here have created in me a true love of our community and helped me understand the issues that we must continue to deal with to keep Riverwood the wonderful place to live that it is.
I have been a docent at the Memphis Zoo for the last 8 years and have become fascinated with animals and plants. I want to see us as Board Members do everything, we can to improve the beauty while protecting the animal habitat of our common areas. This can only enhance the quality of life we enjoy here.
Everything we do in the Association should be done with a lot of common sense and with an effort to spend our Association Dues wisely. I believe that we have spent too much on some things in the past, and that existing or new association contracts should be evaluated with a goal of saving homeowners money where possible.
Also, we should very thoroughly analyze each spending requirement as it arises, in order to ensure that each dollar spent is the best use of our available funds.
I have worked in business throughout my career and bring that experience and common sense to the board. Therefore, I would certainly appreciate your vote to select me to represent you on our Association Board this coming year. I will work very hard for you!!

Paul Westphal
Biography
I have lived at Riverwood Farms for (28) years. I have served on the board for (7) years, which (5) was the board president. Many homeowners encouraged me to run. Service to others is in my DNA, and I look forward to serve the community again. A number of initiatives were started a number of years ago, and I would like to advocate for them to be continued and brought to fruition. I was intimately involved in creating the Riverwood strategic plan, the green space master plan and the marketing and communications objective, as well as the Capital Reserve Studies. It will be my desire to bring the community together, by holding meetings with homeowners new to the HOA environment to discuss the benefits of the entire community to speak with one voice. It is clear Riverwood has successfully sustained outside forces of crime and decay, by reminding all homeowners to keep up their properties. A well-kept and pristine environment is the heart of success to sustain the growth in property values, and all homeowners play a part in that. As the old saying goes, we are only as strong as our weakest link.
