1376 Cedar Run Cove

Jamie will quickly tell you that his wife Jane is the gardener in the household. The two grew up in Jackson TN and moved to East Memphis in 1962. As they neared retirement, they decided to build a new home in Riverwood Farms for the beauty, privacy and convenient location, and they quickly made friendships that they still enjoy today. Their home was only the third built in the cove in 1995, and deer would regularly gather in their yard to enjoy the native persimmon trees. Jane couldn\’t wait to get started on the landscaping and hired her instructor from her University of Memphis landscaping and gardening class to help. There’s always something in bloom …from the crepe myrtles, azaleas , begonias and a large native dogwood in the summer, to pansies in the winter and spring along with narcissus, caladiums and tulips . She has trained a stunning Loropetalum tree to grow along a garden wall near their entry, and created a lovely sitting area in the front side yard. Drive by and enjoy the scenery!
